Installation moisture
During the construction of buildings, many building materials are installed in a wet consistency or with a higher moisture content than in normal use. The overall moisture level and humidity present in a building is often underestimated and can be as much as 20%. If the outer envelope of the building is sealed so that moisture cannot escape from the building construction, a risk of mould formation and possible building damage may arise. conluto provides a drying protocol sheet to help ensure that drying times for clay plasters are correctly observed and to document this for the client.
